Who Will You Call Today?
Today we’re launching several new features that make Skydeck useful every single day: daily data, so you can check who called you yesterday and who you need to call back; an easy way to share contact information with people in your network; and the ability to search your network for people that you don’t know.
As always, we wanted you to be first to know. Thanks again for your great feedback and support during this private beta. We’ll be announcing our public beta very soon!
Daily Data

You’ve told us that you love being able to see and sort your calls and text messages in Skydeck, but you’ve also asked us where are the calls you made yesterday, or last week? It’s our most requested feature.
Until today, we were only importing your cell phone bill. Your most recent bill can be over a month old. Fortunately, most cell phone companies post spreadsheets to their web sites each day that you can download to review your calls. Yes, you read that right: spreadsheets. Is it any wonder that most people never bother?
Skydeck now collects these spreadsheets as well as your cell phone bills to give you a complete record of your cell phone calls and texts. Start each day by reviewing who you spoke to yesterday and you’ll never forget an important phone call again.
You will need to update your toolbar – by restarting Firefox – in order to see the changes.
Easy Contact Updates

Why does Skydeck combine the idea of a social network with the idea of an online address book? Here’s one simple example.
When your friends change job or phone number, it’s a pain to cut and paste all of their new information into your address book. But software that lets them update your address book automatically brings other problems: you can’t keep track of changes, information seems to disappear, and contacts get duplicated.
Starting today, Skydeck members have another choice. When a friend updates her Network profile, you can copy all or some of the new information into your address book with a couple of clicks. Or you can ignore the change. It’s easy, and you are in control.
Just look for this icon Copy Profile Icon in any profile when browsing your Network.
Search the Skydeck Network

Now you can search your Network to find people that you’d like to meet and to connect to people that you already know.
When you want an introduction, Skydeck shows you the best person to ask, based on how well people know each other.
When you connect to people on Skydeck, you can keep each other’s contact information up to date easily and you both expand your Networks.
Once again, thanks for testing Skydeck. We’re very grateful for all the feedback we’ve received. We’ll be opening up Skydeck to public beta soon, but there are plenty more features still to come.
