What is Skydeck?

Skydeck is an online service that helps you to keep track of your cell phone calls and text messages. Our secure software combines your cell phone records with your address book so that you can see who you called yesterday, how long it's been since you last spoke, and check if they ever call you back. Based on the history of your communications, Skydeck re-organizes your address book and your network around the people that matter most to you. You'll never forget an important call again. You can learn more on our Features Page.

Can anyone use Skydeck?

Yes, anyone can signup for Skydeck. Click here to begin.

Can someone else use Skydeck to view my cell phone records without my knowledge?

No. Not only would they need the login information for your cell phone account, they would need to have physical possession of your phone. Skydeck sends a confirmation code to your phone by text message as part of the signup process.

What information can my connections see about me, my contacts, and my other Skydeck connections?

You have complete control over your data and everything is private by default.

You don't have to connect to anyone on Skydeck in order to use the service. If you do connect, you get to mark each connection as personal or business (or both). Business connections can only see your business contact information, personal connections can only see your personal information. And no-one can ever see your call records, unless you expressly authorize that.

Which cell phone companies do you support in which countries?

We currently support customers of Verizon Wireless, AT&T Mobility, Sprint/Nextel, and T-Mobile in the U.S. only. We will add cell phone companies and expand internationally over time.

What types of service plans does Skydeck support?

Skydeck supports both individual and family cell phone plans from the four largest cell phone companies in the US: AT&T Mobility, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, and T-Mobile. We do not currently support prepaid plans, flex pay plans, business plans or plans that combine cell phone service with cable TV, DSL, or similar services (e.g., AT&T's Unity plans).

Which web browsers can I use with Skydeck?

If you're running Windows XP or Vista you can use any browser, but for Mac or Linux you'll need Firefox 2 or 3. (The software that checks your usage and fetches your call and text message data is available as a Windows download or as a Firefox toolbar.)

How frequently is my cell phone data updated on Skydeck?

When you first set up an account, Skydeck will import the call and text message details from your cell phone bills as well as the recent usage posted on your cell phone company's website. After that Skydeck will update your data at least once per day, unless your cell phone company's web site is down or delayed.

Is Skydeck affiliated with the cell phone companies?

No, not at this time.

How much does Skydeck cost?

We'll be launching some premium services in the future, but the features that you see today are free and always will be free to individual consumers.

How does Skydeck protect my privacy?

Skydeck treats your cell phone records the way other companies treat your financial records. Our privacy and security standard are far higher than those of most cell phone companies.

For more information please read our privacy policy and learn what we do to keep your data secure.
