Just got a new phone? Install Skydeck and download your contacts.
- Delete the Skydeck application from your old phone. Skydeck does not work with two phones connected to one account. If you do not have access to the old phone delete the connection from Skydeck by going to ‘My Account’ > ‘Contact Sync’ > ‘Configure’ > ‘Delete this sync point’.
- Download the Skydeck sync application on your new phone. (Visit http://skydeck.com from your phone browser or search for Skydeck in the appstore on your phone.)
- The app will launch your browser and ask you to create a new account. Choose “Login” instead and login to your existing account (the link is at the bottom of the page).
- Launch the app on your phone, press the menu key, and select ‘Sync Address Book Now’
- Choose how you want to sync (we recommend ‘Overwrite Phone’ for new phones)
Your Skydeck contacts should be downloaded to your new phone. It may take up to an hour depending on the size of your address book.
