If your contacts are on Skydeck.com you can recover them to your phone in a few steps on your cell phone.

Blackberry, Android, Windows Mobile

If you no longer have Skydeck installed on your phone:

  1. Download the latest version from http://m.skydeck.com
  2. When the application launches, login to your Skydeck account (click on the login link at the bottom of the page).
  3. Restart contact syncing (Menu > “Sync Address Book Now”)

If Skydeck is still installed on the phone:

  1. Stop syncing (Open Skydeck on your phone > Click Menu > Select “Stop Syncing”). This logs you out of Skydeck and resets syncing.
  2. Restart syncing (Click on the “Start Syncing” button in the application).
  3. Your browser will launch so you can log in (click on the login link at the bottom of the page and log in)
  4. Restart syncing (Menu > “Sync Address Book Now”)
  5. Select how you want to sync (”Merge” or “Overwrite Phone”)

iPhone

  1. Delete the Skydeck app from your phone. This will delete your Skydeck sync history. To delete the Skydeck app, go to the iPhone home screen, press and hold the Skydeck icon, press ‘X’ to delete the Skydeck app, then press the Home button.
  2. Reinstall Skydeck. Visit http://m.skydeck.com from your phone’s browser and follow the instructions to get the Skydeck app.
  3. Login to Skydeck. Open the app and choose the Login button. Enter your phone number and password. Sync should start automatically and restore contacts on Skydeck.com to your phone.
