We know that your cell phone communication data is private and sensitive. Skydeck takes great precautions to ensure that your data is safe and that you are the only person who can access it. We will never share any of your data without your permission. Our security policies and technologies are described in greater detail below. You can also read our full privacy policy.
Only you can access your account
Your Skydeck account is protected by your Skydeck password. Please choose a password that is difficult for someone else to guess and keep it private. No one at Skydeck has access to your account password and if you forget your password and lose access to the email address that your account is registered under you will not be able to recover your account.
Your data is always encrypted
Skydeck uses Amazon’s Web Services to store your cell phone data. Amazon’s security measures are industry-leading and Skydeck takes full advantage of them. (Find out more about Amazon’s security measures.)
Skydeck uses 128-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology, authenticated by Verisign, to secure all the data exchanged between your phone, your computer, and our website. Not only will your data be encrypted during transfer, but your data is encrypted before being stored on Amazon’s servers, so that your data is safe even in the event of a security breach at Amazon. In addition to SSL encryption, Skydeck uses Amazon’s secure firewall to protect against Denial of Service attacks, Port Scanning, and IP Spoofing.
Employees have no access to your data
Skydeck employees have no access to your data unless you request customer support. Employees are required to sign confidentiality agreements that protect your data and they may be subject to discipline, including termination and legal action, if they do not comply.
